Second Day of the Seyllin Conference Completed!

With the close of the Second Day of the Seyllin conference comes the close of the Conference itself. There were many great presentations made by some of the brightest minds in all of New Eden.

Full transcripts are available Here for both day 1 and day 2.

I for one am looking forward to the next conference!

Seycon YC120: Witness and Wonder

Another Seyllin Conference has been announced for YC120! The event is to be hosted by Arataka Research Consortium in Eram at the Bureau Memorial Laboratory, a change to the events usual venues in the Seyllin system itself. Unfortunately I have not been able to confirm the reasoning for this change beyond attendee safety. The Seyllin system has always been a Low-Security system and many hostile capsuleer elements have made travel tricky in the past.

At this time the organizers of the event have not announced who will be speaking or the schedule of events for the days of January 20th and 21st. However I for one am very eager to see the latest advancements in the cluster and Seycon has always offered delightful insight into the scientific goings on of the cluster.

As mentioned above The Sixth Seyllin Conference will be on January 20th and 21st of YC120. To coincide with the conclusion of the Conference there will be a Seyllin Conference Donor’s ball at 21:00 New Eden Standard Time in the Eram Ballroom of the Bureau Memorial Laboratory.

I hope to see you all there.

Investigation into the Debacle at Ommare Ongoing

//For Public Release//

The Synenose Accord (SYNE) has received inquiries relating to our ongoing investigations into the actions of so-called “Hacktivist” group SnipeHunt in the Ommare system on YC115-03-11. The Federal Intelligence Office (FIO) alleges SnipeHunts operatives were involved in an attempted theft of data from the FIO Assembly Plant orbiting Ommare VI. The operatives – including those in an Obelisk-class freighter – and the capsuleer forces recruited as their escort were subsequently terminated by an FIO fleet as they exited the system. The entire chain of events has been detailed in an official SYNE report ‘Debacle at Ommare’.

An investigation by SYNE was launched shortly thereafter due to the direct involvement of SYNE pilots in the operation, ongoing concerns as to the motive behind both SnipeHunts and FIO actions leading up to it and what part it may or may not have in events that continue to destabilize the political balance of the entire New Eden cluster.

Current findings of the investigation remain confidential while analysis of information provided by over one hundred civilian survivors of the skirmish continues. When this and related investigations conclude SYNE will consider the release of a public report – either in part or full disclosure – to detail our findings.

Fly safe pilots.
