At approximately 20:15 New Eden Standard Time a Minmatar fleet made up of 5 Naglfar Dreadnaughts entered the Colelie System, entering orbit over Planet VI of the system with the intent to move onward into Gallente space. After a terse dialogue between the Minmatar fleet commander, Aruko Aruman and the Gallente reactionary fleet Lead by Stolle Colalle, 15 Moros Dreadnaughts, where the Minmatar Fleet repeatedly demanded further passage into Gallente space and the Gallente Commander ordering them to return home.
At approximately 20:20 the Minmatar Fleet opened fire on a Gallente Moros. Initiating the battle in earnest, despite Capsuleer attempts to calm the situation. FCORD Fleet Admiral Grideris attempted to halt the Fleets Capabilities to fight by ordering Capacitor Neutralizers on the Minmatar ships. To little effect as by 20:30 the Gallente Fleet Commander’s Moros was destroyed and Suns Goligere took command.
After it became apparent Energy Neutralizers were useless in halting the Minmatar attack, Fleet Admiral Grideries ordered FCORD fleeted Capsuleers to engage the Minmatar. Helping whittle down the enemy fleet until they were no longer a threat to the Gallente Reaction Force, and ceased fire. However the Gallente did not, and the battle continued until all fifteen Naglfar Dreadnaughts were destroyed. As soon as the battle was over, and even during, Capsuleers began Search and Rescue Activities in the battle zone to recover the crew that may have been lucky enough to escape.
Noted during this time True Slave Foundations pilots began abducting survivors as well. As well as other pilots, of various Minmatar Loyal factions or neutral factions, continued to harass the Five remaining Gallente Moros.
At 21:09 Odo Korachi arrived, of Directive Enforcement Department, and ordered all pilots involved Cease Fire Immediately. Much to the relief, and annoyance, of capsuleers due to the tardiness of CONCORD’s reaction. Threatening all vessels that continued combat would brand them criminals and thus earn them destruction. Of note here is a number of Serpentis allied pilots threatening the CONCORD ship and summarily being destroyed.
As Capsuleers gradually came to heel, the Gallente fleet left the field. Odo Korachi remaining on grid for a short while longer before departing as scavengers and search and rescue ships cleared the field. Leaving the ramifications of the attack to be felt across the cluster.
